The Balkan Energy P30 solid fuel boiler is designed for central heating of spaces up to 150m². It is suitable for burning solid fuels such as wood, class B briquettes, and coal, with electronic control and fan assistance.

A solid fuel boiler made of steel with an intelligent controller and electric fan for pressurized and adjustable air supply. The Balkan Energy P series of solid fuel boilers cover a range from 30 to 100 kW, meeting the heating needs of medium to large installations. Designed for burning solid fuels, these boilers also offer the option of installing a pellet burner.

 

Product Features


Construction:

  • The boiler body is made of high-quality, 5 mm thick steel.
  • It features a large combustion chamber with a wide heat exchange surface and low resistance for more effective draft.
  • A large door allows easy loading of sizable wood pieces.


Efficiency:

  • The combustion chamber is ribbed to increase the heat exchange surface and is designed with a triple exhaust path to maximize heat exchange.
  • The third exhaust path is made with large-diameter pipes to effectively control the flow of exhaust gases. It includes turbines to adjust the exhaust gas flow rate and optimize combustion.
  • The combustion chamber is fully surrounded by the water jacket for enhanced heat exchange efficiency.
  • The boiler is externally insulated with dense ceramic wool, designed to withstand high temperatures.
  • Air supply is regulated by a high-quality fan located at the back of the boiler. An electronic controller measures the water temperature at the top and bottom of the boiler, as well as the flue gas outlet temperature, and automatically adjusts the air supply to optimize combustion and maximize fuel economy based on system needs.
  • The system can be connected to an indoor thermostat.

Controller Functions:

  • Fan control with step 1 from 0 to 100.
  • Control of the central heating circulation pump.
  • Control of the domestic hot water pump.
  • Room thermostat connection for improved temperature regulation.
  • zPID software for automatic air intake adjustment, optimizing combustion and fuel economy.

 

Controller Equipment:

  • LCD screen for displaying readings.
  • Two temperature sensors for water in the upper and lower parts of the boiler body (CH temperature sensors)
  • One domestic hot water sensor (HCW sensor)
  • One fume temperature sensor.
  • High-temperature protection with a thermal overload relay.
  • The control panel is made of materials resistant to both high and low temperatures.

Principle of Operation:

The ST–81 zPID intelligent temperature controller is designed to regulate the operation of solid fuel central heating boilers. It controls the central heating pump, domestic hot water pump, and fan. There are four operating modes:

  • Home heating
  • Boiler priority
  • Parallel circulation pumps
  • Summer mode

The controller measures flue gas and water temperatures in the upper and lower parts of the boiler and uses the zPID function to automatically adjust air intake, optimizing combustion for maximum performance and fuel economy.
 

Safety Features:

To ensure safe and reliable operation, the boiler is equipped with various safety mechanisms:

  • 3 bar pressure relief valve (included)
  • Heat sink: At the rear and top of the boiler, a heat sink (tubular structure with a large surface area) must be connected to the water supply network via a thermal valve with a remote sensor (NOT included). In case of overheating, water is released into the heat sink, dissipating boiler heat into the environment.
  • STB thermostat that cuts off the power supply in case of overheating.
  • An electronic control system that shuts off the air supply to the combustion chamber in the event of overheating.
  • Automatic shutoff of air supply in the event of a power failure.


The device complies with EN 303-5 standards CE Certification.
