Grilled burgers
Products:
For burgers:
1 kg minced meat (70% beef and 30% pork)
100 g breadcrumbs
1 tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tbsp. olive oil extra virgin
Mix all ingredients and shape into 6 burgers.
For the sauce:
1 hot pepper, medium size (of your choice), finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
50 ml extra virgin olive oil
Stew the peppers and onions in olive oil for 5-7 minutes until soft, then add:
2 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp. Garlic (freshly chopped or powdered)
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. coriander
1 tbsp. paprika (sweet)
15 ml. Apple vinegar
2 tbsp. Mustard
100 ml. Ketchup
100 g of brown sugar
120 ml of water
Cook for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to low and cook for another 10-12 minutes. Your sauce should have the consistency of honey.
Method of preparation:
For the barbecue:
Shape the burgers and spread them with the sauce, leave for 20 minutes. Then place the burgers on the hot barbecue for 2 minutes and spread with another layer of sauce. Turn and grease the other side. Repeat each time you turn the burger. Grill until ready. Put the burgers (meatballs) in breadcrumbs and garnish with vegetables and sauces of your choice.
