The cut-out thermostat (or low temperature thermostat) can be installed on fan convector raidators. Its purpose is  to enable or disable the operation of the fans based on the temperature of the water inside the radiator. It ensures that when in heating mode, the convector doesn't blow cold air in the room.

Temperature limits

  • At t > 38oC - turns ON the fans
  • At t < 30oC - turns OFF the fans
